Tidenham War Memorial Hall and the attached cottage were donated to the Tidenham War Memorial Trust in 1958, and the trusts which managed both the hall and the recreation ground were merged in 2001. The hall was donated by Desmond Royse Lysaght. A plaque on the interior wall of the hall commemorates those lost in the World Wars from our community, and is a sobering read.
